The inaugural PWHL season was a huge success at the box office, and saw the League break multiple attendance records throughout the year.

With sellout crowds in every city, the PWHL will be looking to build on the numbers from Year 1.

Here is a look at some of the highlights:

21,105

Record setting attendance for a woman’s hockey game set on April 20 between PWHL Montréal and PWHL Toronto at the Bell Centre.

19,285

Attendance for the “Battle on Bay Street” game between Toronto and Montreal in the PWHL's first game at Scotiabank Arena in Toronto.

392,259

Total PWHL attendance over 72 regular season games.

89,952

Ottawa led the league in overall attendance averaging 7,496 fans per game and 89,952 total.

22,586

Total number of fans who attended two neutral site games during the season. Toronto and Montreal played in Pittsburgh at PPG Paints Arena and Boston and Ottawa played in Detroit at Little Caesars Arena.

With record attendance in 2024, the League is already looking at additional neutral site games for the upcoming season.  PWHL Toronto has already outgrown its 2,700-seat Mattamy Athletic Centre and will be calling the Coca Cola Coliseum home this season – upping their nightly capacity to 8,150.
